Background[]
Formula E History[]
Boss would find interest in sponsoring the ABB FIA Formula E Championship during the 2016/17 season, amid news that Mercedes-Benz, a manufacturer sponsored by Boss in Formula One, was seeking an entry in FE.[3] Boss would subsequently enter negotiations with Formula E Holdings in the autumn of 2017, with a deal between the two groups announced on the 13 November 2017.[1] The deal saw Boss end their sponsorship of the Mercedes Grand Prix team, with the group instead becoming the 'official apparel supplier' for Formula E.[1]
Boss would replace the American firm 1st Round in the role of official apparel supplier.[4]
Products[]
Boss do not provide any equipment or products for the ABB FIA Formula E Championship, bar supplying suits and clothing to employees of Formula E Holdings.[1]
