The Porsche Taycan Turbo is a an all electric sedan that is currently serving as the Safety Car for the FIA Formula E World Championship since the 2021/22 Season and was the first non BMW manufactured Safety Car used in the series. Taking over duties from the MINI Electric Pacesetter and BMW Qualcomm i8 Roadster, that latter of which had been the safety car for the series since the inaugural season.
The Taycan Turbo S version of they Taycan has a 93.4kWh battery with twin electric motors pushing out a top speed of 260km/h, the car was driven by former Touring Car driver Bruno Correia.
